“Tremendous Amount Of Interest” In Mass Effect Film

Bioware has revealed Hollywood is interested in making a Mass Effect film.Speaking to the MTV Movie Blog, Bioware project director Casey Hudson stressed that the film would have to meet the expectations of the developer.”Obviously we have a tremendous amount of interest from people in Hollywood to make a major motion picture about Mass Effect,” said Hudson.“The most important thing for us is, we don’t just want to see a movie get made. We want to see a great movie get made, if it’s going to get done at all.”The film rights for the series were optioned in 2008 by Avi Arad, although nothing has come to fruition since then. However, perhaps the buzz about the upcoming game sequel and the excellent cinematic trailers may have turned some heads in Hollywood.Do you want to see a Mass Effect movie?
