Tribes: Ascend features some really big guns

Hi Rez’s Tribes: Ascend is apparently aiming (ho ho) for a screen-to-gun ratio of roughly 3:1.
At least that’s the obvious conclusion to draw from the latest dribble of screenshots from the game’s beta session.
Maybe the Tribes characters all like to keep their guns really close to their faces or something.
The game is coming “later this year” to PC and Xbox 360, and it’ll be free to play.
