Turbine will operate Lord of the Rings Online EU servers from 1 June

Codemasters will cease to run the Lord of the Rings Online servers in Europe from 1 June onwards, as Turbine announce they will be taking control.
How this will affect you as a Lord of the Rings Online player can be found at the extensive FAQ about the transition. Essentially, you’ll have to migrate your account to the new owners when the time comes, and inform them of your billing details.

All of the current servers will remain in place, just with new ownership. There shouldn’t be any disruption to your character, items or any of the other MMO paraphernalia you’ve collected over the years. Players will be notified when the transfer utility is available.
Lord of the Rings Online will also maintain its free(ish)-to-play model.
