Twitch goes Turbo with ad free service

Twitch has just launched their new “Turbo” service which can be all yours for a monthly fee. Turbo would usually imply some sort of speed increase but that’s not what this is, with Twitch Turbo you can avoid all the adverts.

For $8.99/mo USD, you will no longer have to endure ads and there’s also a few extra thrown in like a special badge, custom emoticon set and “extended” chat colours. I think you’re going to have to be a pretty serious user to cough up for this considering you can get a Netflix account for around the same price.

In case you were wondering, the broadcasters still get paid as if you had been loading the ads so you’re still supporting their shows.
