Two Ubisoft titles at the centre of the recent DRM controversy have disappeared from the UK Steam store this morning.
Entries for Assassin’s Creed II and Silent Hunter V are missing, with the store displaying the following message:
“Sorry! An error was encountered while processing your request: This item is currently unavailable in your region”
Both titles include Ubisoft’s new, and highly controversial,to combat piracy which have proved highly unpopular following a number of leaving legit users unable to play their games.
We have contacted Steam for a statement on the issue, stay tuned to IncGamers.
