With the imminent release of Assassin’s Creed 2 you’d expect nothing on Assassin’s Creed 3.
Speaking to IncGamers, associate producer Vincent Pontbraind, said the team had already started working on Assassin’s Creed 3.
Asked whether they were thinking about the next Assassin’s Creed, Pontbriand responded “yes, of course,” but said that the team were still trying to nail a time period.
“The key thing is that it has to be a pivotal moment in history, it has to be something that changes something and humanity in the world.”
“It can’t be before the original Assassin’s Creed, but it could be between the original and Assassin’s 2.”
Pontbriand also said we could expect to see DLC for Assassin’s Creed 2, but refused to make any more comments on what to expect.
“There are plans for DLC, but I am not allowed to talk about it, but it’s something that creates longevity.”
In addition to this, the team are considering multiplayer modes, but are afraid that it won’t work because of the amount of assassins populating the world, but again, not much was revealed, only that it was something under consideration.
