In the span of just a few years, the uncharted franchise has become one of the most recognized and well reviewed games series of all time. It started with the beautiful Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune being released early in the PS3’s life and it shot to fame with the release of the fantastic Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The franchise was only strengthened with The PS Vita release of Uncharted: Golden Abyss and the third main game, Uncharted: Drake’s Deception.

There are some rumours and whisperings that suggest the next Uncharted game, Thief’s End could be the last in the series. Drake’s voice actor, Nolan North hinted that this game may be the finale and the fact that this game features a slightly older Drake could hint at a finish. Some fans think maybe Thief’s End should be the last but others are eager for more. In this article published by Only SP and written by Matt Bianucci, you can read Matt’s thoughts on why Thief’s End should indeed be the final chapter in the Uncharted series.
