US pre-order trinkets detailed for Red Faction: Armageddon

The usual suspects of US retail are lining up to flash their trinkets and baubles at you in the hope you’ll pre-order Red Faction: Armageddon from them.
Saucy old Amazon are dangling a free game in front of you – Red Faction: Battlegrounds to be precise – in either XBLA or PlayStation Network flavours.
GameSpot think they can go one better though, offering Battlegrounds and a ‘Commando Pack’ (pictured below.) This includes a plasma thrower and dual laser pistols, plus a Commando outfit. Hot stuff.
Meanwhile, Best Buy are seductively flashing a ‘Recon Pack’ which features the arc-welder and XNG-5000 weapons, along with a recon outfit for those voyeurs amongst you.
Last and … well, perhaps least in this case, Wal-Mart. They’d like to offer you a 24 page graphic novel with a bit of backstory in it.
Far less sordid than all of this commercialism is the IncGamers interview with Red Faction designer Drew Holmes. Read it here. The game is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on 31 May.
