It seems as if Valve is getting pretty sick of approving Greenlight titles in sets of 10 or 12, so this month the company has decided to just go nuts and push through 100 of the little buggers. That’s an awful lot of upcoming indie game, but don’t expect 100 every single month. This is, according to Valve, something of a stress test.
This latest milestone is both a celebration of the progress we’ve made behind the scenes and a stress test of our systems. Future batches are not likely to be as large, but if everything goes smoothly we should be able to continue increasing the throughput of games from Greenlight to the Steam store.
