Van Helsing to have Incredible Adventures in Neocore’s latest

Neocore, developers of the King Arthur series, are turning their hand to the action-RPG genre with The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Judging by the game’s website, it isn’t the Van Helsing we’ll be controlling, but his son (who presumably isn’t all that amazing at monster hunting to begin with).
Whichever member of the Van Helsing family we end up controlling, Neocore promises “an Action RPG filled with fierce and demonic battles, memorable characters, and a refreshingly unique story”. If they can bring the enjoyable writing from the King Arthur ‘choose your own adventure’ style quests over to this title, that “unique story” claim may turn out to have some weight.
Incredible Adventures will be set in 19th century Europe, and we’ll follow Van Helsing to the “dismal land of Borgovia”.
No screenshots just yet, but Neocore has released some concept art (below). The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is due for release towards the end of 2012, on PC and Xbox Live Arcade.
