The first of Warhammer: End Times Vermintide‘s five heroes has been revealed: the Witch Hunter, Victor Saltzpyre.

Victor is an agile fighter equipped with leather armour and wielding a brace of Pistols and a Rapier as his starting weapons, but as with all heroes in End Times Vermintide, it’s up to players to choose their own fighting styles. As such, he can also be outfitted with a Witch Hunter’s Great Sword, a Repeater Pistol, a Crossbow, and a One-Handed Axe, depending on the situation and the needs of the team.

You can read more about Victor – specifically, details on his story and the reasoning behind a number of his design decisions – over on the official dev blog. Alternatively, you can have a look below to see some concept art of the chap, as well as a few screenshots of him in action.

Warhammer: End Times Vermintide is due out in the second half of 2015.
