WAR’s Career Changes Delayed

The controversial career changes that were due to take place in Warhammer Online’s upcoming patch 1.3 have been pulled, according to Mythic.

These changes, which had received a lot of negative feedback from the WAR community, were removed to enable testers to concentrate on the new Land of the Dead zone. The main issues players had were with changes to the Warrior Priest and Disciple careers, stat factors and healing effectiveness.

“Due to the complexity of the changes, it becomes very difficult to simply separate out specific items from the patch without altering other changes in unexpected ways. As a result of this, and to ensure the very best possible patch content, we have decided to split the Career balance changes out of our 1.3 patch. This will allow us to continue working with our Public Test community to further shape the upcoming career adjustments into a more stable, understandable, and fun experience for all.”

The changes will be removed from this iteration of the PTS, but Mythic plans to re-open the test servers for the career changes shortly after the release of patch 1.3.
