Warzone 2 Leak Redeploy Balloons Return From Warzone 1

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 has many ways for players to get around the map, push enemies, or simply reposition. There are a range of vehicles such as boats, bikes, and you can even hop on a train that travels around Al Mazrah. According to fresh reports, Warzone 2 could be getting a movement mechanic from Warzone 1. It’s been allegedly leaked that Redeploy Balloons are joining Warzone 2 for an extra way to get around the map.

When Warzone Pacific‘s Caldera map first launched, players had complaints about how slow-paced matches were and how difficult it was to travel around the map. In response, the second season of Caldera introduced Redeploy Balloons that let players zipline up to a floating balloon and use their parachute to glide to a new location. In addition, portable Redeploy Balloons featured as a Field Upgrade. If the latest leak rings true, both versions of the Redeploy Balloon could be coming back.

Redeploy Balloons leaked to be making their debut in Warzone 2

Prominent Call of Duty leaker TheGhostofHope stated that Redeploy Balloons from the original Warzone could be making their return in Warzone 2. Apparently, they have been renamed as Redeploy Drones and they may feature as both portable and stationary items. The way in which they’ll work hasn’t been revealed, but it sounds like they’ll be stationed around specific areas of the map and available for players to pick up and deploy them wherever they choose.

If Redeploy Balloons do get added to Warzone 2, its unknown when that could be. However, as they were popular in Caldera, the response is likely to be the same in Al Mazrah. Due to the timing of the leak, they could arrive in Season 02, but we’ll have to wait for confirmation from Activision. Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 02 is scheduled to launch on February 15.
