Why an Advanced UAV is better than stacking three UAVs in Warzone

Making the most of your UAVs.
Warzone Advanced And Base Uav

UAVs have featured in Call of Duty: Warzone for a long time. The standard version of the streak highlights enemy players on the mini map if they do not have the Ghost perk equipped. Certainly, UAVs can give you the upper hand, especially early in the game when not many players have Ghost equipped. There has also been a way to create a more powerful version of the UAV by calling in three at the same time. Doing this reveals every enemy that is on the map. However, the prominent Call of Duty YouTuber JGOD has explained the difference between this strategy and using an Advanced UAV streak.

According to JGOD, calling in a regular UAV will give you around 40 seconds of intel. Therefore, calling in more than one will stack this time further. This means you will have enemy positions available to you on your mini map for a good amount of time. JGOD explains that stacking three UAVs also shows everyone on the map, even if they have Ghost. Unfortunately, there is a downside to this common strategy. Once you approach the enemy, their icon on the mini map will disappear if you are within a 250 meter radius. Although stacking UAVs will allow you to see where everyone is situated, the strategy will not help you in close-quarters gunfights.

The benefits of an Advanced UAV in Warzone

Advanced UAVs are now available at buy stations in Call of Duty: Warzone. Although these only last 40 seconds, the streaks will reveal everyone on the map, regardless of how far away they are from you. Additionally, players with the Ghost perk will appear as circles on the map rather than triangles. At the same time, an Advanced UAV will indicate if enemy players have higher ground, relative to your position.

JGOD’s findings should be useful in helping you decide which option is best suited to your play style. If you are playing for the win, an Advanced UAV may be the better option. On the other hand, stacking three UAVs can prove to be a better option for high kill games.
