Call of Duty: Warzone Combat Bows are causing a game breaking bug

Warzone Combat Bow Bug

Call of Duty: Warzone contains various killstreak rewards to help you take down enemies. One particularly powerful killstreak is the Combat Bow. Loaded with explosive arrows, one hit can take down an enemy, even at a distance. However, a bug has emerged in Warzone which is causing big issues with the Combat Bow.

A clip of the Warzone Combat Bow bug was posted on Reddit. As you can see, the player shoots their Combat Bow which causes the game breaking bug to kick in. The field of view appears to have changed and they are towering over the rest of the lobby. In addition, the HUD shows that the Combat Bow is still equipped, even though they used their last arrow. If that was not strange enough, the shadow of the character shows that the player was carrying a gun, not the bow.

The Combat Bow bug is problematic in Warzone

It’s currently unknown what is causing the bug, but it is definitely a strange occurrence. Call of Duty: Warzone has had its fair share of bugs and glitches recently though. Previously, players have been able to see through walls in various parts of Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island. The addition of the bugged camera can make this combat bow bug even more frustrating.

At the time of writing, developer Raven Software is yet to address the Combat Bow bug in Warzone. As it’s game breaking, we can only hope that a fix will be rolled out in the near future. The ability to see enemies from above and through walls due to the broken camera can give enemy teams some extra intel. Although the camera manages to restore itself, there is no known fix to break free when it happens. Perhaps, it may be beneficial to avoid the Combat Bow for now to avoid potentially getting hit by the bug in your Warzone matches.
