Raven Software finally adjusts Numbers event audio, adds accessibility options to Warzone

Toning down the noise
Warzone Numbers Event And Accessibility Updates

Call of Duty: Warzone Season Five Reloaded introduced the Numbers event. Participating in the event allows you to unlock a series of rewards. If you have played Call of Duty: Warzone recently, the event has been difficult to ignore. There are large red markers on the mini map signifying the areas that you need to visit. Also, it’s highly likely that you will have heard a voice reading out seemingly random digits. Now, after a series of complaints, developer Raven Software has finally adjusted the volume of the Warzone Numbers event audio. At the same time, more accessibility options have been added to Warzone.

Raven Software updated fans on the change it has made to the audio via their Twitter account. The developer has adjusted the frequency of the sounds and altered the extremely loud volume levels. Although it is not removed completely, players are noticing a significant improvement.

Turning the Numbers event audio down and message audio up in Warzone

Additionally, some extra text chat options have been rolled out. You can now enable a sound alert if you receive a message from another player. Also, you can enable an audio cue for system messages. Not only this, but there is now an option that allows you to choose how long the message remains on your screen. You can either turn messages off entirely, or choose their duration, from a minimum of three seconds to a maximum of 30 seconds.

With the adjustment to the Numbers event audio, and more accessibility features in Warzone, it shows Raven Software is listening. Hopefully, accessibility options will be further improved in the near future. Players are calling for Raven Software to squash some more bugs around Verdansk ’84 and Rebirth Island too. An issue where players are able to see through walls is just one example that has cropped up again recently.
