During this year’s GDC Jeff Kaplan took to the stage to talk about world building and Overwatch.

In this video, Jeff discusses the world-building philosophy of Overwatch and how it all started with the now canned Titan project. He talks about how hard it was when the project was canned and how the development team was moved onto other projects. It weas then that Overwatch was born and became the huge success it is today.
