What a card: Might & Magic Duel of Champions announced

Ubisoft has announced Might & Magic Duel of Champions, a free-to-play title based around a collectible card game set in the Might & Magic universe. There’s more than a slight possibility that this is an effort to tap into the success and popularity of videogame versions of Magic: The Gathering.
I n Duel of Champions, you’ll “develop skills and strategies”, engage other players in card-based battle and build up your hand from hundreds of Might & Magic themed cards. As the game is ‘free-to-play’ it’s no surprise that there’ll be a store for you to buy new, powerful cards and experience boosts from. In other words, the most important card will be credit or debit.
Might & Magic Duel of Champions will be coming to PC and iPad. There’s a closed beta underway in France right now, with closed betas promised for other areas in the future.
