Lethal Company: How to get and use Spray Cans

You may not think this item is useful, but I promise you it can come in handy. Once you’ve downloaded the latest update for Version 45 of Lethal Company, you can use the Spray Cans for is to mark your way out and keep track of where you’ve headed.

One thing I had a problem with while exploring the moons’ facilities was that I’d get desperately lost within their maze-like halls. I wouldn’t know how to find my way back 99% of the time and wondered if there would be a way in the future to mitigate this. Now with Spray Cans, you can leave a bread-crumb trail of where you came.

First off, you can purchase a Spray Can for 50 credits through the store at the Computer Terminal. Once you have it, press the “Q” key to shake the can, and left-click to start spraying. It won’t last that long, so you’ll need to keep shaking it for more fuel.

While you’re exploring a facility, use the spray can to paint arrows on the walls or ground pointing to where you came from. You can even spray around doors with a large X to symbolize it as a dead end, or somewhere you’ve already explored.

The color of your spray can is also random, so if you know which of your friends has what color, you can track who went where. I don’t believe many players are really thinking about the proper uses of the spray can. As someone who gets lost all the time, I know for a fact that I’ll be buying a spray can every run.
