There's more in the patch than the wave

One of the newest trends Nintendo has been doing with its recent games is the addition of post-launch DLC. This is no different for Fire Emblem Engage, with the game receiving four waves of DLC. With the release of the third wave, people are probably wondering what it contains. Here’s our guide on what’s included in wave 3 of the Fire Emblem Engage DLC.

What’s included in Wave 3 of the Fire Emblem Engage DLC?

All you’re receiving from the Fire Emblem Engage DLC this time around is the two Emblems, Chrom (with Robin) and Veronica. Chrom and Robin hail from the Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem Awakening, which is also the same game that Emblem Lucina comes from. Veronica, on the other hand, is a character from the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes. Her gimmick is reminiscent of the gacha mechanics from that game.

What’s in the 1.3.0 patch that came with the DLC?

A new patch also dropped alongside the release of the third wave of Fire Emblem Engage DLC content, and it includes some fun additions. There are two new notable additions to the game, one of which is a simple addition of the “Inherit Skills” menu from the Arena. This is a welcomed change as you would have to go to a different area entirely to inherit skills from the Emblem Training you were doing in the Arena. This makes the grinding of Emblem Bonds (also obtaining their skills) just that bit easier.

The other addition included in this Fire Emblem Engage patch is a use for the Well you can find in the Somniel. This change allows you to put weapons into the well for you to receive something else out of it. This addition is neat due to the number of weapons you have going spare in Fire Emblem Engage with the removal of weapon durability. You can put those weapons into this mechanic and hope for something better to come out of it after you’ve done a battle.

Fire Emblem Engage is available from the Nintendo Store.
