Where to buy Stealth Armor in Tears of the Kingdom

Looking cool, Link.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a multitude of ways to express your playstyle. You can solve puzzles in ways unique to you, like how I personally enjoy building massive bridges to conquer anything and everything. Expressing your playstyle can even be as simple as just choosing your horse for a certain reason, or having it wear a certain type of saddle. One of the ways you can express your playstyle in Tears of the Kingdom is through wearing armor. You can make Link look as cool or as dumb as you want, and that’s the beauty of it. One of the coolest armor sets in the game is the Stealth Armor, which returns from the predecessor. But how do you get it? Here’s our guide on where to buy Stealth Armor in Tears of the Kingdom.

Much like the previous game, you can buy the Stealth Armor set. Also like the previous game, you can indeed buy it from Enchanted in Kakariko Village. There is a catch though. With the Upheaval taking its toll on Hyrule, Kakariko Village doesn’t escape the damage done. This has led to numerous Ring Ruins landing in Kakariko Village, and it becoming a tourist spot due to the nature of these. The Upheaval has also left its mark on the ground too, with Gloom now being a common occurrence around chasms that lead to the underground of Hyrule.

One of the Kakariko Village clothing shop’s owners has fallen ill with the Gloom, and the prices to buy things in Enchanted, such as the Stealth Armor, have gone up as a result of that. This means that you need to complete a Side Adventure before lowering the prices down to what they usually are. This Side Adventure is called Gloom Borne Illness, and you can activate it by talking to the shop worker, and then Lasli next to a cooking pot at the location shown in the map below.

After activating this quest, you’ll need to cook up a porridge that can cure Gloom sickness. Luckily, we have a guide on this Side Adventure, taking you through the steps on how to complete it. Once you complete this Side Adventure, the prices will come down from 5,000 rupees, to a lower price that’s more achievable. That’s how you buy the Stealth Armor in Tears of the Kingdom.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for purchase from the Nintendo Store.
