Finding the king.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has a beefy main quest for you to get through. Much like its predecessor, you can tackle any of the four main objectives given to you in whatever order you prefer to do them. When you decide to do one, after probably doing nothing but side activities for 20 hours, you might choose to investigate the Zora regional phenomena. Doing so will lead you on a quest that involves finding King Dorephan in his hiding spot. Here’s our guide on where to find King Dorephan in Tears of the Kingdom.

Where to find King Dorephan in Tears of the Kingdom

Finding King Dorephan can be a bit of a pain if you don’t know where to look. To begin with, you can hear about his hidden place from some people talking about it in the throne room. To be able to listen in on their conversation, you need to approach them by sneaking from behind the throne and eavesdropping. They don’t tell you a certain location mind you, only some vague hints.

To know where to find King Dorephan, you can follow the map above. You’re going to need to head to this location, the shrine at the top of Zora’s Domain is the closest fast travel point to the hideaway where King Dorephan is, so fast travel there if you have it. Once you arrive here, head backwards, away from the shrine, and towards the cliff. Glide down towards the left, and past the concrete on the edge of the cliff below the one you jumped from.

After going past that part of the map you should be able to see a small hole in the ground where water is running into it. This is the hole you need to go down to find King Dorephan. Once you’re in there, you can talk to King Dorephan, and continue the story quest that you’re currently doing.

After talking to him, you can leave by fast traveling out of there and to the place nearest to where you’re heading next.
