How to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded

Metal Scraps are an important resource for making a lot of things in Enshrouded, but they aren’t that easy to come by. The only way to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded is by defeating bandits and looting their camps. Wherever human enemies are, Metal Scraps are.

Speaking of human enemies, read our article on whether Enshrouded has PvP or defensive PvE?

After defeating human enemies, loot their bodies to find one or two Metal Scraps per person. You can also find one or two Metal Scraps lying around in the searchables around their camps.

Yes, defeating bandits can be difficult, but the hardest part of getting Metal Scraps is that there is no efficient way to farm many of them quickly. My only piece of advice for acquiring a lot of Metal Scraps quickly is to frequently do runs through bandit camps making sure you loot everything.

The best locations early in the game that feature a lot of Metal Scraps are the Scavenger Camp southwest of Braelyn Bridge, the Ancient Vault – Blacksmith location just past Braelyn Bridge which requires a Grappling Hook to get to, and the Hills of Scavengers camp which is easily accessible after you’ve completed the Ancient Spire – Springlands and have acquired a Glider.

In my experience, it seems like everything, including enemies and their loot that carry Metal Scraps, gets refreshed after 24 hours of in-game time. This is great news because it allows you to farm Metal Scraps at the locations mentioned above. Whenever you’re out or running low on Metal Scraps, run through one of the best Metal Scraps farming locations to resupply.

Before running into any bandit camp for Metal Scraps, I recommend having the best Skills unlocked. If you don’t have the best Skills, it will be harder to stay alive and make out like a bandit with a bag full of Metal Scraps.
