Windows 10 Brings Xbox Streaming, Cross-Play, DirectX12 and DVR

Microsoft’s Windows 10 presentation has come and gone, and with it come those long hyped gaming announcements. The new OS enables not only streaming Xbox games, but cross-play with Xbox gamers.

The new streaming feature will work with any PC or table that runs Windows 10, even low powered computers. They will be launching the cross-play service with Fable Legends.

Along with it, Microsoft also touted benefits for PC games with DirectX12, promising 50 percent improvement in performance, as well as a DVR mode to record the last 30 seconds of gameplay similar to Nvidia’s Shadowplay.
