How Wintergrasp works exactly has never been fully disclosed, but the lid has been lifted on all of the new calculations, which involve a temporary boost to a faction’s performance depending on who won or lost the previous battle, and players are being asked to give feedback while the patch is on the Public Test Realm.

In addition to Wintergrasp changes, player will be able to trade in Frozen Orbs for other crafting items after the patch has been applied. Frozo the Renowned can be found in the Dalaran Magus Commerce Exchange and will exchange the surplus orbs for Eternals, Frost Lotus, Runed and Crusader Orbs. See the full list below:

Crusader Orb (6 Frozen Orbs)
Runed Orb (4 Frozen Orbs)
Eternal Fire
Eternal Earth
Eternal Water

Eternal Life
