World of Warcraft players donate over $1.9 million to Japan earthquake…

190,000 sales of the Cenarion Hatchling pet later… 
At the start of May Blizzard made the Cenarion Hatchling pet available at $10 a pop, 100 per cent of the sales revenue was donated to the Japan earthquake relief fund. The pet was available until 31 July.
Blizzard has announced that players have raised over $1.9 million. 
“The community responded by opening up their hearts and wallets wide,” a statement on the World of Warcraft website said. “Thanks again for your support and for helping to make an impact on the lives of those affected by these events.”
