World Of Warcraft Shadowlands season 1 Begins With New Raid & Mythic+ Dungeons (2)

With a few weeks worth of adventures already behind most players, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is well into endgame territory now. For the more invested players, the real game begins with the commencement of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 1. Most of the more challenging endgame features, such as the new Castle Nathria raid, Mythic+ dungeons, competitive PvP rewards, and The Great Vault, are now available.

Without a doubt, most players will be heading to the Mythic+ dungeons and the new raid. After all, these activities represent new content to test one’s skills in the MMORPG. The Castle Nathria raid will require all of your wits and strength as you take on a terrifying 10-boss gauntlet. The treacherous Sire Denathrius will need to answer for his crime of betrayal as part of the main story.

Players can choose from both Normal and Heroic difficulties when taking on the raid in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands for Season 1. The Mythic and LFR difficulties will only arrive next week on December 15. The latter is meant for casual players, with auto-matchmaking to help out. It also separates the raid into four different wings. Wing 2 will open after January 5, while Wing 3 and 4 will follow on January 19 and February 2.

Something for everyone

Alas, if you can’t put together a raid group, there’s always the Mythic+ dungeons. Just as before, the dungeons will get progressively tougher as you clear them at each difficulty level. There will also be dangerous affixes on weekly rotations, adding fun twists to proceedings. World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 1 will definitely keep players occupied for a while.

Competitive PvP is also now available, where you can earn Conquest and Honor in ranked matches. These can in turn be exchanged for powerful armor and weapons.

All of these activities will give you bonus shots at the Great Vault. Each week will see a random piece of powerful gear awaiting players, but you can complete different objectives to increase your choices. As you can see, it is very important to hit the level cap with the right gear for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Season 1. Time to grind.
