World of Warcraft Legion beta starts – Patch notes released

Today is a big day for World of Warcraft fans as the Legion expansion beta gets underway.

Beta invites are going out to those that have opted-in via Battle.Net and have receive an invite from Blizzard. This expansion adds the new Demon Hunter class, the starting experience for the Broken Isles, the new level-up and max-level zones, the new Artifact system, and more.

Fotunately Beta testers will have access to level 100 character templates to make life a little easier during this testing period.

To coincide with the launch there’s some huge patch notes to sift through but it’s worth reading these over so you know what’s in store including the list of raids and new dungeons.

The beta test will run right up until launch which is on 30 August.

Now where are those vanilla servers Blizzard?
