World of Warcraft’s patch 3.1.2 has gone live today across Europe, introducing the new equipment manager feature that was originally intended to be released in patch 3.1 last month.

Players will now be able to switch talent specialisations, for example from damage-dealing to healing, and their armour and weapons will change along with the swap. This feature is now built into WoW, but a similar utility has been available for some time in the form of third party custom-made addons for the game. Other changes in the patch included many class tweaks and bug fixes, see the full patch notes here.
