Xbox One November Update Adds Customization, TV, Store Features And More

Major Nelson outlined some upcoming changes that will come with Xbox One’s November update. Xbox One fans have every reason to be pleased, as the update comes with a host of personalization, TV, Xbox Store, Internet Explorer, and Smartglass features.

Here’s an outline of what’s coming with the update:

Personalization

  • custom backgrounds
  • add location and bio to gamer profile
  • share game clips to twitter

TV

  • Live TV trending list – updated live
  • Twitter TV trending – updated based on most tweeted shows
  • Xbox Tv trending – updated based on most watched XBL shows
  • Miniguide Tweets live feed
  • Recents and Favorites areas

Store

  • improved UI and navigation
  • navigation buttons moved to the left
  • standardized store categories

Smartglass

  • Friends Game Activity
  • Smartglass app section
  • Coming Soon section has new filters for games and add-ons
  • Games with Gold and Deals with Gold sections on Smartglass

Internet Explorer

  • Snap IE
  • featured sites

Preview Dashboard

  • new Leaderboard
  • My Stats, new points system for completing surveys, quick polls, rating upgrades, etc.
