Unlocking weapons in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns is similar to the previous DLCs, like the Among Us one. But for those who might not have played any other DLC, here’s how it works. There are a total of 11 base weapons with another 11 evolutions of said weapons. In total, it’s 22 new weapons.

Weapon Evolutions are unique versions of weapons in Vampire Survivors. When you combine weapons with a specific item, you’ll be able to create things that make you fear for your enemy’s well-being. Weapons and passive items you require for the evolution will both have to be at level eight, which is the max item level in Vampire Survivors.
What makes evolving weapons different in Operation Guns is the fact that you’ll have to obtain a Weapon Power-Up item along with the weapon and normal item. Here are all 11 weapon evolutions in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns and how to unlock them:

Where to find Weapon Power-Ups in Vampire Survivors Operation Guns
While getting the base weapon and passive weapon to level eight is fairly standard and self-explanatory (I highly recommend unlocking the weapon to make leveling it up much easier), the new feature is grabbing a Weapon Power-Up.
These are always found in the same locations on Neo Galuga and Hectic Highway and they look like metal briefcases. If you have one in your inventory, you can evolve your weapon.
Once you grab all the weapons, you’ll be busy attempting to grab all the evolutions and checking off one more thing for the collection. Granted, unlocking weapon evolutions won’t get you much else but gold, but who doesn’t need more gold?
