If you haven’t played Fall Guys in a while, now serves as a perfect time to get back into it. Developer Mediatonic just put out Season 4 of Fall Guys, and it brings quite a few new features to the table.
Dubbed “Creative Construction,” this new season introduces Creative Mode, a full-blown level editor that lets players design and share their own Rounds with the world. Naturally, this serves as the season’s most significant new addition, one that allows the community to express itself more than ever before. But of course, Season 4 implements plenty of more features beyond this. You can take a look at the full list of patch notes on the official Fall Guys website.
To accommodate those who would rather not use the new level editor, Mediatonic added 20 more pre-made Rounds right out of the gate. These include “Parkour Panic,” “Uphill Struggle,” and “Wham Bam Boom,” among others. Mediatonic intends to put out a total of 50 new Rounds over the course of the season, so keep an eye out for the rest.
Any other noteworthy inclusions?
In addition, Season 4 incorporates Fame Passes into the mix. These essentially function as smaller season passes that players will receive throughout the season. Although Fame Passes have a lower cost than season passes, they “reward you with more value for your playtime.” Players can already jump into the first Fame Pass of the season, which offers a total of six costumes to unlock, including a Hello Kitty costume. This Fame Pass will last six weeks, at which point the next one will presumably arrive.
Alongside these new features, Season 4 of Fall Guys doubles the number of daily challenges to try in exchange for reducing the number of weekly challenges. Season 4 also implements numerous bug fixes and other improvements as one would expect, including better Blast Ball physics and the nerfing of a framerate exploit used to gain speed boosts on drums.
