In Palworld, Jetragon is a swift flying mount as well as one of the strongest Pals in the game. Those who seek one may consider trying to breed it rather than hunting it down.
Breeding Jetragon in Palworld
Those wishing an easier time getting Jetragon in Palworld will be bitterly disappointed. The combination to breed one Jetragon is… two Jetragon parents. That’s right, only they are capable of producing the insane Pal you seek.
If you do already have two of these Dragon-type Pals, then you’ll need a Breeding Pen to get them to work. It would be mighty surprising to have two Jetragons and not a Breeding Pen but to each their own.
With a male and female Jetragon assigned to the Breeding Pen, you’ll need to wait for them to get all lovey-dovey. In the meantime, you can work on making a Cake, which can be produced from any cooking station aside from the campfire. It requires:
- 5 Flour
- 8 Red berries
- 7 Milk
- 8 Eggs
- 2 Honey
Once it’s made, you can place the Cake in the box outside the Breeding Pen. They’ll consume the Cake and get to producing the Egg. Once it’s finished, you can Incubate it to hatch it.
A Jetragon will be produced, and you can start automating the process to have an army of these beasts in no time.
Where to find and defeat Jetragon in Palworld
Now that you know you can’t breed Jetragon into existence without two additional Jetragons, you’re probably wondering where you can find one. And in fact, one is all you will find (until it respawns, at least).
Jetragon is a Legendary Pal that can only be obtained by catching it in its Field Boss fight, to the North West of the Volcanic Island in the South West of the Palpagos Islands.
As Jetragon is a Level 50 Dragon-type Pal, you’ll need plenty of strong Ice-types. Just please don’t bring any Dark-types. They will get eviscerated. Penking is a great candidate for this fight, but Frostallian is even better.
You don’t exactly need a bunch of Ice-types, as a team of any highly powered Pals will do. Grizzbolt, Jormuntide, Vanwyrm Cryst – any of these sorts of Pals will do. It will be worth also using the Pal Essence Condenser and the Statue of Power to bring out the best of your Pals.
Make sure to bring the heat-resistant version of whatever armor you’re wearing, as it will get a little hot.
You’ll want each of your Pals – and you – to be Level 50, oh, and make sure you’ve got plenty of Legendary Spheres on standby for when it’s low on health. Leveling up your Capture Chance through the Statue of Power will be very much advised here, too. Not all the way, just as high as your sanity will allow.
