Identifying the egg types in Palworld

Eggs come in 9 different types, corresponding with the 9 different classes of Pals in Palworld. They can be found around the map in set spots. If you are looking for easy ways to bolster your party, then picking these up is a must. Once you have one in your inventory, you can place it in an incubator and receive a Pal for your hard work. The type of egg you incubate will determine the rarity, level, and type of Pal you receive.

Egg types and where to find them

  • Common Egg – Neutral-type Pals. These can be found all over the island.
  • Damp Egg – Water-type Pals. These egg types are often found around the Cold Shore fast travel point to the north of the center of Palworld.
  • Dark Egg – Dark-type Pals. You can find Dark Egg types by the Investigator’s Fork.
  • Dragon Egg – Dragon-type Pals. Head to Mount Obsidian on the west of the map to find these eggs.
  • Electric Egg – Electric-type Pals. On the coast to the east of the Sealed Realm of the Winged Tyrant.
  • Frozen Egg – Ice-type Pals. Head into the snow at the north of the map for these cold Pal eggs.
  • Rocky Egg – Ground-type Pals. In the northeast of the map, around the edges of the desert area, you will find these Rocky Eggs.
  • Scorching Egg – Fire-type Pals. By the Fort Ruins, you should find a Scorching Egg.
  • Verdant Egg – Grass-type Pals. Unsurprisingly, you will find these in the Verdant Brooke area of the map, just to the east of the center.

Each of the eggs comes in three different sizes. You can find regular, large, and huge eggs in Palworld. The size determines the level of the Pal that will emerge and the likelihood of finding a rare Pal inside.
