Destiny 2: How to complete the Trick Shot bounty

The Trick Shot bounty is one of the several Daily Bounties you can pick up from Lord Shaxx in the Hall of Champions. Contrary to the majority of the other Bounties – which involve the Onslaught mode in one way or another – the Trick Shot bounty will have you perform tricks on your Sparrow or your Skimmer by emoting while in the air. Now, this might sound easy enough for you to try this for yourself, but some minor setbacks could affect your performance.

But first, let us travel to one place that will be familiar to all of us, especially for the recent New Lights: the Cosmodrome. Why? No, not to repeat the New Light questline – which you can skip now, by the way. The amount of hills and downed airships allows either your Skimmer or your Sparrow to gain momentum and spend as much time in the air as possible. This is ideal because the tricks require a decent amount of time to perform correctly.

Once you have picked your spot, all you need to do is jump into the air and emote to perform a trick mid-air. For that trick to actually count toward the Bounty progress bar, you will have to avoid receiving damage or bumping into any objects when landing. If you avoid that, a brief sound will play afterward that will confirm the efficacy of your landing and the validity of your trick.

You can also visit other places across the universe to try to do these tricks. For example, the Moon does offer some ramps and overall elevation that you can exploit in your favor. However, I would still recommend the Cosmodrome since its design is much better suited for the Bounty at hand given the amount of opportunities and openness of the area.
