How to get a Bordelrie membership in Dragon’s Dogma 2

"No mum, I was just curious."

In the Noble Quarter in Vernworth in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you may have come across the Rose Chateau Bordelrie, a house of courtesans at the beck and call of their clients. If you want access, you need to get a membership card.

The Bordelrie’s membership card, the Myrmecoleaon Card, is not for sale in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so you’d have no real way of getting inside from your own volition. However, you will eventually get given it.

As you progress through the story with Captain Brant’s many quests, you will soon encounter one called The Stolen Throne.

No spoilers, but that’s the quest in which you’ll get given a Myrmecoleon Card, the Bordelrie’s Membership Card. With this, you can access Rose Chataeu Bordelrie’s unique services. They’ll still cost you, though.

How to use the Bordelrie in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You already know what the Bordelrie is used for in Dragon’s Dogma 2, so I’ll tell you everything else surrounding it to satisfy your curiosity.

With your Myrmecoleon Card in your inventory, you can enter the establishment and talk to any courtesans standing around, male or female. There may also be some clients there, like shop clerks or guards, who won’t want to chat.

There are a couple of floors, each brimming with characters to hire. Talking to any one of them will give you the option to sleep with them, for a cost of 20,000 Gold. A high price indeed.

Sleeping with any of the courtesans will trigger an animation, where you and your chosen fellow will be wearing only their undergarments and sitting on the beds. The camera will pan away and fade to black, insinuating that a business transaction is underway.

When the camera comes back, you’ll both be sat on the bed again, still in your undergarments. This is no Cyberpunk 2077 or Witcher game.

Nothing will happen, and there is no practical benefit to sleeping with any of the courtesans unless you don’t mind forking out 20,000 Gold for roleplaying purposes.

There you have it, how to get into the Bordelrie and what to expect. Many of you I suspect would be more interested in forming relationships with NPCs, but to each their own. I won’t deny even I was curious.
