How to Get Vex Milk in Destiny 2 Dawning 2023

Got Milk?

Radiolaria, more commonly known as Vex Milk, has multiple purposes within Destiny 2’s universe. However, during the Dawning event, it is one of the ingredients for some of Eva Levante’s cookies. Here is how to get Vex Milk in Destiny 2 Dawning 2023.

All you have to do to get Vex Milk in Destiny 2 is defeat Vex, which is the robot race. Vex are found pretty much everywhere which means there are a lot of locations and activities you can do, including the Season of the Wish activities, to get Vex Milk.

For those unfamiliar with Vex Milk (which is my least favorite name for anything in Destiny 2), it is a white substance that powers the Vex and their machine worlds. It is commonly found on the Vex at their weak points on their stomachs and on planets like Nessus, where it engulfs rivers, lakes, and waterfalls.

Fortunately, Vex Milk is one of the most straightforward ingredients to farm in the Destiny 2 Dawning event. If players look at Eva’s oven, they will see two categories for the ingredients, uncommon and rare, the latter being the most difficult to farm. However, Vex Milk falls into the uncommon category of ingredients. All Guardians have to do is defeat Vex enemies to farm Vex Milk.

One of the best farming locations for this would be the planet Nessus, which has been heavily occupied by Vex since the beginning of Destiny 2. Plenty of Lost Sectors on the planet have nothing but Vex enemies. Players can also spend their time near the Vex Milk lake, The Cistern. Plenty of Vex spawn here, and Vex-related public events occur at this location.

If you’re like me and find enjoyment in Destiny 2 when you knock out two (or three) birds with one stone, you can play The Coil or Riven’s Lair to encounter Vex and get Vex Milk while you’re completing Seasonal Challenges, Bounties, and earning reputation at the Season 23 vendor.
