Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – Shield Maze puzzle guide
There are a couple of notable Shield Maze puzzles in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. You can take a look at the important fixtures in the map below:
The first part is fairly easy to do. When you reach the main hallway, you’ll notice that the door on the left is locked. The goal is to find a document called Hosilla’s Orders. To get it, you’ll have to make your way to the eastern section of the dungeon, down to the dank cellars. There’s an enemy there known as the Hand of Hosilla that drops the item. Once you pick it up, it’ll tell you that the door can be opened by clicking on the torch to the left.
Color Gem Puzzle and Radiance
Go through the door and you’ll have access to the western and northern portions of the dungeon. The important part here is the last chamber, which has the Shield Maze color gem puzzle and Radiance weapon in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
You’ll see four crystals on the wall. The clue here can be found when you look at a set of paintings in one of the fancy rooms in the southeast. But, to save you some time, we’ve got the solution. Just press the gems in this order: Yellow -> Blue -> Red -> Yellow.
If you do it right, the wall will move and you’ll find an altar with a sword. This is the Radiance longsword, a weapon that can be upgraded multiple times throughout the campaign depending on your dialogue choices and scripted moments.
Once you have it, proceed through the rest of the area normally until you clear it. This leads to a short trip to the Grey Garrison and the beginning of Act 1.
Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is available via Steam.
