Fans of the Borderlands series rejoice! The next installment in the franchise has got a release date, and it’s this year. The game will be released in the UK on 17th of October and the 14th in the US.

The game is set in between the events of Borderlands 1 and 2 and will feature new gameplay mechanics such as zero gravity to the world of Pandora. Those of you who pre-order the game from certain retailers will also receive the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit bonus content, which will allow you to go head to head against the worst Pandora has to offer in a low gravity arena.
The game will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
