Sons of the Forest: Where to find Golf Carts

The expansive island in Sons of the Forest isn’t just home to groups of cannibals. You can now find abandoned golf courses with drivable Golf Carts. How you’ll find the Golf Carts you can drive in Sons of the Forest are at golf courses on the northeast corner of the island.

Once you arrive, you should see a large open space with the classic red flags and sand dunes. The Golf Cart I found was near one of the holes and was easily visible from a distance. Similar to the Knight V unicycle vehicle, the Golf Carts run on a battery. I’ve used my Knight V for pretty long distances without it seeming to run out, so the Golf Carts will probably last quite a while.

If you enjoy playing Sons of the Forest with friends, you’re in luck. Not only can someone sit in the driver’s seat, but a passenger can sit beside them. Also, you can push the back of the Golf Cart to give it a head-start. To drive the Golf Cart, go to the driver’s side and hold the ‘E’ key. Now, just use the ‘WASD’ keys to drive as you would normally walk. Although it’s surprisingly fast, try not to run your friends over.

In patch 1.0 for Sons of the Forest, Endnight Games added a bit to the Golf Carts. They’re now equipped with radio decks and a GPS screen. This could mean you can listen to the radio while driving, but I’ve yet to test the new Golf Carts. Also, the GPS screen seems more for show since we have a minimap in the corner of the screen.
