How to get Beegarde in Palworld

Make sure to be on your guard...because they will.

In Palworld, players who stumble across Beegarde for the first time are in for a very bad time. Then they realize they’re in for a bad time all the time. Capturing Beegarde is difficult, but it is possible. Here are a couple of strategies to do just that.

Where Beegarde spawns in Palworld

Beegarde is a Plant-type Pal that spawns both in the world and in dungeons. You’ll want to frequent the Mossandra Forest to find them, as Beegardes make for excellent Pals for your farm.

Beegardes spawn in packs, and they ruthlessly have each other’s backs. You won’t be able to take just one on, so make sure you’re prepared before finding them.

They’ll spawn with levels no less than 20, and are powerful Pals to begin with, so bring your best Pals and equipment.

How to capture Beegarde in Palworld

In Palworld, Beegarde is notoriously difficult to capture due to their self-destruct that deals huge damage to you and your Pal. When they enter this mode, they’ll charge straight to you very quickly and will pace around you. It doesn’t help that they’re aggressive upon seeing you, either. There are a few ways to circumvent this, but caution is advised.

To prevent the Beegardes from becoming aggressive, make sure that you’re mounted on a powerful Pal. A Level 31 Kingpaca did it for me, and the minimum level needed to scare them off isn’t chronicled anywhere. Just ride your strongest and see if they bite.

Mostly, when they see you, they’ll immediately jump to the self-destruct. One way to stop this is by bringing along a Stun Baton. This is unlocked at level 22 and costs 20 Ingots and 20 electric Organs to make.

With the Stun Baton, you can keep striking a Beegarde that’s in self-destruct mode to stun them. Note that it doesn’t immediately electrocute them and that it does take some hits. So if you keep missing, you will get blown up. Upon being stunned, you can let your Pal deal lots of damage or you can keep shooting them in the head. I’d recommend the Handgun for this.

Using a mount to fight Beegarde

If you don’t prefer or don’t want to use the Stun Baton, then catching them off guard with a powerful mount to get the jump on them is necessary. When you engage them, they seem less keen to immediately go into self-destruct mode, allowing you to unleash many rounds into their head to prime them for your Giga Spheres.

Don’t use any Sphere less powerful than the Giga Sphere. You will want to catch these guys as quickly as you can.

Even if you die while capturing one, you might still capture it. If the Beegardes are very aggressive and self-destruct whilst you’re in the middle of capturing another, it’ll still count. You may need to keep returning and capturing them one at a time in this manner. It’s not efficient, but it’ll work.

Now that you know all about capturing Beegarde in Palworld, why don’t you get familiar with capturing Felbat, another powerful Pal?
