Heroes of the Storm alpha tester boost – Here’s how to get involved

Now that the recent Heroes of the Storm downtime is over, Blizzard are going to add more players and it could be you.

In an effort to entice more players to the Heroes of the Storm alpha test, Blizzard are running a couple of promotions which involve current players and Facebook.

If you’re not already on the technical alpha then your best chance, apart from opting in via Battle.Net, is to sign-up on the new Bring Your Friends to the Brawl’ app; I know many of you hate Facebook but at least it’s another chance even if it is evil.

Blizzard are also wanting current players to do their marketing for them and they’ve  created a “challenge” where players who reach level 20 between now and 18 November can get invites out to everyone on their Battle Tag and Real ID friends list. 1000 randomly chosen players who achieve this will have all their friends added to the test should they “win”.

These “contests” are worth a shots if you’ve been trying to get on the test which I know has not been easy more the majority of MOBA fans. An FAQ has also been posted which should answer any questions related to the above.
