Images of cancelled Amalur MMO Copernicus surface

Curt Schilling, boss of the now dead 38 Studios (Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning), has posted a selection of screenshots from the studios planned MMO.
Dubbed Project Copernicus, the MMO had been planned to be set in the same world as Amalur and by all accounts was a long way on in development. The quality of the screenshots below suggest that that was indeed the case.
Schilling’s post of the pictures on Facebook is accompanied by the following note:
Images from the most magical, breathtaking and awe inspiring world ever created. Images I was “allowed” to peek at along the way, when the team wanted us all to see the magical world we were building.
Unless someone else comes to rescue, Corpernicus is not likely to ever see the light of day following 38 Studios’ problems.
