Listen; Eerie Canal announces Dreadline

The tremendously named Eerie Canal studio (staffed by some former Harmonix and Irrational Games employees) has today announced a thoroughly weird title. Entitled Dreadline, it follows a group of time-travelling monsters who show up at history’s greatest disasters (sinking of the Titanic, the Hindenburg explosion, Man Utd snatching a draw with Oldham in the 1994 FA Cup semi-final) and wreak havoc.
It’s a bit of a real-time strategy/RPG hybrid, with shades of Irrational’s Freedom Force series. In your squad, you can look forward to controlling a ghost, a werewolf, a mummy and … a glowing cube thingie. See them all at work in the video, below.
Dreadline is scheduled for an early 2013 release on the PC.
