Space game fans will be getting excited for No Man’s Sky, it comes out on 9 August. Or does it?

The official No Man’s Sky about page has the PC version listed as coming out a few days later. The page reads:

No Man’s Sky is a game about exploration and survival in an infinite procedurally generated galaxy, coming to PS4 on August 9th in North America and August 10th in Europe, and on PC worldwide on August 12th.

The GOG page for the game doesn’t specify a release date but the Steam page does now have the game listed as 12 August indicating that PC gamers are indeed going to have to wait a few days to start playing.

There has been no mention of this date change from Hello Games as yet but it looks like the date has been shifted.
