Zeal introduces A Game of Dwarves [Video]

Zeal Studios have put out a little developer diary explaining some of the conceptual features of A Game of Dwarves. In the video (below), you’ll learn about taking care of your beardy chaps by giving the a functioning economy, food and beds. There’s also talk of accidentally uncovering hordes of monsters who’ll have to be dealt with.
It sounds like there’ll be both a free-build sandbox mode and a more structured mission-based mode to play in the game, depending on whether you want to progress through levels or just endlessly build away to your heart’s content.
A Game of Dwarves is coming to the PC. No release date has been announced. The footage used in the video is obviously quite an early build, so it could be a while yet.
