The Lunar Awakening event is live for all Diablo 4 players to enjoy. While the decision to center it on Shrines may not be what many expected, the truth is that event rewards have never been easier to collect. During this event, Shrines across the Sanctuary overworld and even those inside Dungeons and Vaults will become Lunar Shrines. These will grant the player some powerful buffs that you will need to use to defeat enemies. As a reward, you will get Ancestral Favor. These act as the event experience points, which you will need to collect to rank up your Ancestral Favor level, granting you rewards after reaching a new one.
There are a total of 10 different Ancestral Favor ranks during the Lunar Awakening event in Diablo 4. You will receive gear, cosmetics, and lots of gold for you to enjoy. If you are at World Tier 3, I would recommend prioritizing the use of the Ancestor’s Favor affix to transform a Dungeon or Vault’s Shrines into Lunar Shrines to maximize your Ancestral Favor intake.
