What are the best Class Mods in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor?

Each class in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has three Class Mods that you’ll unlock as you level up each class. While each Class Mod works to make the playstyle of that class different, there is one Class Mod that is better than the others. Here is the best Class Mod for each class in Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor:

  • Scout
    • Classic
  • Driller
    • Interrogator
  • Gunner
    • Juggernaut
  • Engineer
    • Tinkerer

There’s just no beating the Classics. Classic is the best Class Mod for Scout because it’s the first Class Mod you’ll experience and Funday Games wants you to enjoy the game. It’s balanced, but more HP, more movement speed, and a great starting weapon make Classic the go-to for Scout.

While Foreman is a great Class Mod for the Driller fantasy, Interrogator is too good. Starting with the CRSPR Flamethrower, having access to Fire and Acid weapons, and getting a 100% damage boost to status effects makes synergizing a Fire and/or Acid build too easy and too fun.

Weapons Specialist plays similarly to Interrogator but with Projectiles. I think Juggernaut is the best Gunner Class Mod because nothing else plays like it. You’ll play up close and personal which is more dangerous, but more rewarding.

Tinkerer is most likely the best Class Mod in the entire game. Not only do you get a sturdy shotgun as your starter weapon, but you also get a passive bonus to all XP gained and all your weapons start at level three. You can become extremely overpowered quickly with the Tinkerer Engineer Class Mad.
