The latest Honkai Star Rail update has added a bunch of new areas to the game like the Penacony Grand Theater, and there are quite a few chests and other collectibles to discover within them.
The Penacony Grand Theater is one of the final areas that you’ll visit during the main Penacony storyline, and its sprawling layout is home to over a dozen treasure chests, a few Lordly Trashcans, a Warp Trotter, and a ton of Origami Birds. If you’re struggling to find everything in the Penacony Grand Theater, then keep reading to learn the locations of every collectible.
Penacony Grand Theater Collectible Locations
There are a total of 15 chests to collect in the main area Penacony Grand Theater. Most of them are sitting out in the open and should be easily visible as you comb through the area as a part of the Penacony Trailblaze Missions. Some of them are guarded by elite enemies, though, so be prepared for a fight. New Penacony characters like Acheron and Robin will make quick work of them, though.
You should also have an easy time locating the Sequence Trotter in this zone since it’s dead center in the middle of the map. There are two Lordly Trashcans to meet in the Penacony Grand Theater as well, tucked away on opposite sides of the map. First up is the Trashcan of Order. Choose these dialogue options to please it.
- “Oh! Embrace Order!”
- “No Sundays!”
On the other side of the zone is the Down-and-Out Trashcan. Choose these dialogue options to avoid a battle.
- “I don’t have anything to spare either.”
- “It’s just rumors.”
Penacony Grand Theater Act 1 Collectibles
The first 3D room in the Penacony Grand Theater — referred to as Act 1 during the main story quest with Sunday — is located in the left wing of the zone and contains four chests to collect. These are all easy to find and just involve sliding blocks around so you can create bubble bridges to reach them.
Penacony Grand Theater Act 2 Collectibles
This 3D room is located near the Origami Bird Tree and is referred to as Act 2 during the Penacony Trailblaze Mission with Sunday. This room contains several jigsaw puzzles that reveal chests upon completion. One chest is located downstairs, so it’s marked on the map above with an arrow.
Penacony Grand Theater Act 3 Collectibles
This 3D room is referred to as Act 3 during the main story and is located a short distance to the right of the central Penacony Grand Theater Space Anchor. There’s only one chest here and it’s located at the exit of the room, so you probably already grabbed it during the Trailblaze Mission here.
Penacony Grand Theater Aymille Room Collectibles
After you complete the version 2.2 storyline, a new 3D room becomes available in the Penacony Grand Theater. To access it, head to the Space Anchor near Hanu’s Adventure and talk to the woman named Aymille in the nearby room. There are only two chests in this room but they’re both Precious Treasures so the rewards are worth it.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Locations
There are 13 Origami Birds hidden in the main area of the Penacony Grand Theater. None of them are hidden particularly well, especially if you already know where to look.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Act 1 Locations
Inside the Act 1 3D room, there are two Origami Birds to find. They’re located right by the entrance, too, so you may have already grabbed it while playing through the main story.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Act 2 Locations
There are three Origami Birds to collect in the Act 2 3D room. Each of them is located along the main path through the area so there’s a good chance that you may have already collected all three of them during your initial run through this zone.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Act 3 Locations
There’s only one Origami Bird to collect in the Act 3 3D room. It’s located right by the entrance, but you’ll need to use a character with a ranged attack to dislodge it from the bobblehead that it’s stuck in.
Penacony Grand Theater Origami Bird Aymille Room Locations
In the fourth and final 3D room of the Penacony Grand Theater, there’s just one Origami Bird to collect. It’s at the exit of the room, so you’re guaranteed to find it if you can make your way to the end. It’s very hard to miss.
