Best Deadshot build in Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League: Talents, weapons, and gear

Make every shot a critical hit with this Deadshot build.

Deadshot may not be the most exciting character in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but he’s one of the most reliable damage dealers on the squad. As the team’s sniper, Deadshot excels at picking foes off from afar with critical hits and repositioning with his jetpack.

Deadshot is also great at close-quarters combat with certain perks and weapons, and with the right build, Deadshot can churn out critical hits faster than anyone else in the game. Because of that, Deadshot’s DPS potential is ridiculously high. If you want to melt endgame bosses and shred hordes of enemies with critical damage, then Deadshot is the character for you.

This build capitalizes on Deadshot’s skills as a sniper and focuses on critical hits. In addition, this build uses perks that let Deadshot stay airborne for longer with his jetpack while also significantly improving his stats when he’s in the air. It’s a really simple setup that starts with these abilities.

  • Tools of the Trade
    • Sniper
    • Punch It In
    • Sniper Rifle Specialist
    • Ultra Impact
    • Eye of the Sniper
    • Cool Down
    • Shield Sapper
    • Every Bullet Counts
    • Bloodthirsty
    • I Never Miss
  • Locked and Loaded
    • Perfect Form
    • Suicide Strike
    • Grim Reaper
    • Counterattack
    • Flight Suit
    • Stronghold
    • Strike Stacker
    • Dirty Bomb
    • Runner’s High
    • Deadly Assassin
  • Fly Like a Bullet
    • Air Reach
    • Active Heatsinks
    • Afterburning
    • Air Superiority
    • Hot Shot
    • Offset
    • Pinnacle Hits
    • Hang Time
    • Squad Ultimate
    • Ultimate Power Conservation

These perks prioritize four things for Deadshot. The first is critical hits and damage, which pair perfectly with sniper rifles. The second is the jetpack, reducing its heat buildup and boosting Deadshot’s stats while he’s airborne. The third and fourth are Shield Harvest chance and Traveral Attack recharge rate, which are key to Deadshot’s survivability with this build.

Best Deadshot Weapons in Suicide Squad KTJL

Because this build focuses on boosting Deadshot‘s stats more than anything, you can really use any weapons you like. However, there are still a few that are better suited for this setup.

  • Firearm 1: Black Mask’s Bulletstorm
  • Firearm 2: Free Refills SMG
  • Melee: Uppercut

Black Mask’s Bulletstorm is arguably the best sniper rifle in the game right now, so it makes sense that it works well with Deadshot. The burning perk for this weapon doesn’t play into this build that much, so try to roll good Augments on this weapon to make up for that. It can roll with a sniper rifle damage boost and damage boosts when the weapon has a full magazine, among other things.

This build features a sky-high critical hit rate, so the Free Refills submachine gun is a perfect fit that helps Deadshot out in close combat. It instantly reloads after every four critical hits and comes with a 50% increased critical hit chance by default, so nearly every shot will be a crit. It shreds enemies at close range.

You can use any melee weapon you want with this Deadshot build, but we prefer Uppercut since it launches enemies into the air in slow motion, which makes them easier to snipe. Make sure you apply the Livewire Bolt Affliction to your melee weapon of choice, however, since every shot on an electrified enemy is always a critical hit.

Best Deadshot Mods & Gear in Suicide Squad KTJL

Deadshot doesn’t make use of many Notorious or Infamy items in this build, so it’s super easy to gear up for it. Some of Deadshot’s Legendary gear comes with insanely good perks, so this build capitalizes on that.

  • Grenade: Paint Bomb
  • Shield Mod: Primed Up
  • Traversal Mod: Newtonian Mechanics (Hack)
  • Neck Bomb Mod: Modern Application (Hack)
  • Lucky Charm: Hit and Run

The Paint Bomb grenade increases Deadshot’s critical hit damage for every enemy that it hits, which is a no-brainer for this crit-focused build. If you toss it into a crowd of enemies while flying around, your next sniper shot is guaranteed to do massive damage. Make sure to add the Livewire Bolt Affliction to it too, that way you can get even more critical hits.

The Primed Up Shield Mod boosts critical hit damage by 350% after a Shield Harvest, which is key to this build because this pairs beautifully with the Hack Infamy set. The Newtonian Mechanics Traversal Mod and Modern Application Neck Bomb Mod will grant you the two-piece bonus of Hack’s Infamy set. This makes your Traversal Attacks do 50% less damage, but every enemy that you hit has a 100% chance of becoming Harvestable. Since so many of Deadshot’s stat boosts and buffs come after Shield Harvesting enemies, this is an incredibly powerful change for him.

To top things off, the Hit-and-Run Lucky Charm recharges 2% of your Traversal Attacks for every Critical Hit. Since every shot is almost guaranteed to be critical and you have Livewire Bolt at your disposal, you’ll have unlimited Traversal Attacks with this build.

You won’t have to farm Notorious gear or Infamy sets to complete this build (other than Hack’s set), but that means that the Augments and rolls for each piece of gear have to be perfect to make up for the lack of set bonuses and additional perks. Make sure to hit up Toyman to fine-tune Deadshot’s gear, prioritizing sniper damage, critical hit perks, and Shield Harvest perks.
